Getting some press!
Today I am very excited because my Portraits with a Purpose program is being recognized as something special in Metro Kids Magazine. Check out the link, and turn to page 4 for our story!
Thank you so much to Metro Kids Magazine for recognizing my program and helping me spread the word so that I can do more for families who have children with special needs. It’s very important to me to give back in this way, and I am so blessed to be able to do it.
I do this so that families who have children who are severely medically complex and have other expenses like wheel chairs, special vans, ramps for their homes, and many many medical bills, can also enjoy the luxury of quality family portraiture and heirloom products. They deserve to have something that will last through generations.
Having just recently lost a loved one suddenly, I know how very important portraits can be to families. It’s never the wrong thing to do to get your family together for a portrait. Some might wine and complain, and say they don’t like getting photographed, or put it off until next year, but take my advice, and don’t put it off! As I always say to my family (who is also guilty of wining and complaining sometimes), “You will thank me later”.
My kids and nieces with my parents last Spring. This is the last formal portrait we have with the kids and my father, who passed away just last month. They will thank me later!
